THE BEGINNING

Hello,

I wanted to take the time and space to keep track of the process of rebuilding a 1954 Chevy Truck. I have never had any experince at this, so it should be interesting. Some quick information about my truck. I bought this truck in April 2003.

This is "Rusty". My three children and wife thought I had lost it when I drove this thing home. My middle son Blake would not even ride in it going through town. The other two, Morgan and Dillon loved the deep sounding horn and just waved at everyone. Here we come Jed and Granny.

The first thing I had to do was build a 24x30 Shop to work on "Rusty". This was a great experince since I also got involved doing this. I recommend not walking on concrete when it is still wet.

After about four months and $3,000 over budget I finally got shed finished. Even put in a bathroom. Wow, has that came in handy.
