Ok it has been awhile since I was able to do any work. Family
went to Florida for a vacation and trying to relax after that. I have been
in the shop. 
I bought a 2nd 54 that I found. It is a 5 window cab. 
After I looked at it and spent many hours scratching my head,
I thought I better finish one project at a time. Not a total lose, I did get
some great parts . 
I even got a chrome grill and 4 doors.
Not much work has been done. 
Still waiting to finish mounting the engine, then I thought
the orange wouldn't look good in a purple truck sooooooo.... Took the engine
apart and painted purple. 
I cut out the firewall, and I'm in the process of welding
it back 3 inches so I can add all the extras. 
I threw this in to remind myself what it used to look like.
Seems I'm getting farther away from it everyday. 
Ever wonder why?..I spend so much time and money, when I have one that starts every time. If you figure it out, let me know.
Hopefully going to have engine, transmission and brakes installed before school starts. Keep checking back.
