Did you know that most utilities are buried less than 3 feet below the surface? No matter how small the project, if you plan on digging call 811 before you dig! Missouri One Call can help you avoid an accident. Underground utility lines may be near where you are planning to dig. Missouri One Call personnel will notify CLGW who will locate and mark underground utility lines for free so you can avoid hitting them when digging. This service will help you avoid injury or disruption of service that may occur if utility lines are damaged.

Spreading Christmas Cheer

CLGW employees took part in spreading some Christmas cheer once again this holiday season! Throughout the year, the employees of CLGW have $1.00 deducted from each paycheck to brighten the holidays for local families. A grand total of $1,696.00 was collected from CLGW employees through payroll deductions. However, the employees did not want to stop there. They raised the bar and collected an additional $1,851.00 by selling cotton candy, hot dogs, chili and sodas at the 2011 Delta Fair parade! In addition, a contribution of $200.00 was made by Wal-Mart of Kennett.

A grand total of $3,747.00 enabled CLGW's Christmas Family Project committee to purchase clothes, shoes and toys for six families with a total of 21 children. The families also received a food basket. With the help of Santa, delivery was made just in time for a Merry Christmas! This year, items were also purchased for the residents of Heritage Nursing Home and the Boarding Home of Kennett.
