City Light Gas and Water introduces another Wireless connection. In an effort to make broadband available to everyone, we are now offering a Wireless Lite Internet Service for $14.95 per month. The service is up to five times faster than dialup and no phone line is needed. With a two year contract there is no installation fee and no equipment cost to Kennett residents. Customer agrees to pay a one time fee of $60.00 to cover start up fees. This service is designed for the internet user who wants the convenience and speed of wireless at the most affordable rate. City Light Gas and Water Internet Service has a 10.5Mb internet connection, one of the largest in the area. 2.4Ghz and 900Mhz systems, more than 20 access points in total, are in place to provide the best coverage available. Fiber upgrades are underway to take us to the next level. We are now serving outside the city limits with dialup.
