City Light, Gas & Water provides electric, gas, water and sewer services for the City of Kennett. And since the summer of 2002 Internet services are also available.
   The Administration Office is located at 303 South Anthony Street in Kennett, MO.
   Our work force consists of 67 employees in seven different departments. Hard working, bright, and socially conscious individuals provide the utility services required by the citizens of Kennett.
   Each department requires employees with good comprehensive and communications skills, increased use of computers and more computer literate to be able to use the tools to do their jobs. Employees must be able to adapt to the physical and mental challenges of their jobs. Each department has numerous positions that require additional training and certification classes. CLGW promotes the furthering education of its' employees.
   Supervisor and Manager positions require education in engineering, accounting, electronics, data processing and human resource management. Extensive technical training is needed for each department's specific functions.
